Diethylcarbamazine has a highly selective effect on microfilariae. IUPAC name for Niclosamide is 5-chloro-N-(2chloro-4-nitrophenyl)-2-hydroxybenzamide. Current review highlights that research work done under the category of anthelmintic drugs
