Helminthiasis is prevalent globally. classification of anthelmintic based on chemical stricture piperazines: diethylcarbamazine citrate piperazine citrate. benzimidazoles: albendazoles, mebendazoles, thiabendazoles. etc. albendazole a broad spectrum oral anthelmintic agent it is the drug of choice for treatment of hydatid disease and cysticercosis. Diethylcarbamazine has a highly selective effect on microfilariae. IUPAC name for Niclosamide is 5-chloro-N-(2chloro-4-nitrophenyl)-2-hydroxybenzamide. Current review highlights that research work done under the category of anthelmintic drugs
